Monday, November 27 Tuesday, November 28 Wednesday, November 29 The kiddos had a great time in Art creating sculptures with Mrs. Mealor. They practiced vocabulary in Spanish with Maestra Rojas. They went on a cold and wet hike with Mr. B. Thursday, November 30 Instead of a traditional Christmas tree, we began making a Kapok tree for our Rainforest/Jungle Christmas! We used strips of brown paper to make the buttresses for the tree. Based on their learning about the Blue Morpho butterfly, the class created their own species of butterfly! Friday, December 1 We have begun creating our Rainforest Christmas! "Jungle Bells, Jungle Bells, Jungle All The Way" :) We have Howler Monkeys singing this song and wishing everyone a "Happy Howler-days"! We added our Leaf Cutter Ants to our Kapok Tree. Of course, these ants aren't carrying leaves. They are carrying candy canes! |
