We cut out lots of snowflakes! They have come so far with their cutting skills! Today was the first day that Father Matt started having each grade level contribute something in particular to the Nativity in Chapel. We were tasked to bring animals for the Manger. We discussed what we would bring, and brought a Toucan, Howler Monkey, Emerald Tree Boa, Blue Morpho Butterfly, and a Spider Monkey. :) Tuesday, December 12 The kiddos continued loving cutting out snowflakes! In Library, we listened to some wonderful seasonal stories. In P.E., we had fun running through Mrs. Evans' awesome Christmas obstacle course!! Wednesday, December 13 Kindergarten added Angels to the Manger, and First Grade made a landscape of Bethlehem! Everyone is so creative! In Art, the kiddos worked with gingerbread clay and materials. We are sooo lucky to have Mrs. Mealor as our Art teacher! We were Snow Ninjas (meaning that we were so quiet that nobody could hear or see us) and we decorated Mrs. Daniels' new Guidance Counselor office with snowflakes! Thursday, December 14 We became Snow Ninjas again and we decorated Mrs. Buhl's bulletin board and the Lower School office!:) In P.E., we ice skated, pulled each other on sleighs, pushed each other on sleds, and threw snowballs at Frosty. Mrs. Maggie took us outside to hang our presents for the birds to enjoy! Friday, December 15 In Chapel, Second Grade added the shepherds to the Manger. Our kiddos played with the Lego table in the Library while they waited for our room to be set up for their Christmas party! They had a great time at their party!! |
